The Castellizzano cru produces wines of great structure and terroir,
lying as it does in a good position on compact, dry tufaceous soil.

The microclimate, and the special care taken over the tending
of these vineyards located on higher slopes, result in a robust,
long-lasting dolcetto of remarkable quality.

Yields kept deliberately low by careful thinning of the bunches in the vineyard
are fundamental to the production of rich, easy-drinking wines.

TASTING NOTES
Intense ruby red with clear violet highlights.
Delicate, ample bouquet with hints of fresh fruit and a long finish.
Full, dry taste with a nice almondy flavour.
