As agricultural producers, we have understood since the 1970s the importance of protecting our land. We adopt responsible agricultural practices, promoting biodiversity, energy saving and the rational use of water resources.

We talk about over 50 years of relationships and human connections that have allowed us to build a team of 20 members who each year deliver their grapes on the basis of a relationship of trust and community that has lived for generations.
We respect the human rights and work of all our staff in a safe environment. We are joined and driven by the desire to create well-being in our community. We are pleased to sponsor local events, participate in the events with interest and make our wines symbol of cohesion, friendship and cooperation. Our working relationship and friendship with all members is at the first place and we often organize events, all together, to strengthen our union and continue to work always in respect and harmony.
Our daily commitment is to respect our planet and the nature that hosts us with great attention, create a circular economy, recycle resources and care for vineyards with responsibility, maintain the reproducibility of resources by evaluating the impacts.
Our winery has a truly important historical value for the Langhe: it is one of the first cooperative wineries in the Barbaresco area, it bears the name of a valiant Roman emperor born in these lands - Publio Elvio Pertinace - and reflects its values and morality, and every year our company hosts in Treiso the event Premio Pertinace that highlights and rewards a well-known character of our area (artists, doctors, actors, musicians, character in the volunteer scene) and is awarded for helping to exalt Piedmont and the Langhe nationally and internationally.
We have the ability to create wealth for our reality and for the community thanks to a constant and well organized work in the investment choices. The growth of Pertinace has taken place thanks to a continuous and important recourse on both productive and commercial structures such as: the use of lighter bottles, implementation of a photovoltaic system, insertion of a new bottling line, use of green vehicles for deliveries, use of technologically advanced machinery to reduce water and energy consumption.
Our certifications attest in writing what we are committed to every day. We are certified STANDARD EQUALITAS and SQNPI with the aim of improving our corporate standards from year to year. Among the practices of our viticulture, attentive to nature, we can count the use of defined parameters of integrated Production System to minimize the use of pesticides and chemicals; we thus preserve insects and micro-natural orgnism friends of plants, starting from the essential pollinators.
